Article 521
La taxe des dépens est faite par le greffier des appels; elle peut toutefois être révisée, dans les 30 jours, par un juge de la Cour d’appel, sur demande dont avis doit être donné à la partie adverse. Cette révision n’arrête ni ne suspend l’exécution du jugement.

Costs are taxed by the clerk of appeals; the taxation may nevertheless be revised, within 30 days, by a judge of the Court of Appeal, upon motion of which notice must be given to the adverse party. Such revision neither halts nor suspends execution of the judgment.
