Article 898
La demande d’autorisation de vendre un bien énonce les motifs de la demande, et décrit le bien; il y est joint une évaluation et, le cas échéant, l’avis du conseil de tutelle.
La demande propose un mode de vente et le nom d’une personne susceptible d’y procéder et précise les raisons pour lesquelles la vente devrait se faire de gré à gré, par appel d’offres ou aux enchères.

Article 898
The application for authorization to sell property sets out the grounds for the application and describes the property; it is accompanied with an appraisal and, where applicable, the advice of the tutorship council.
The application proposes a method of sale and the name of a person who may proceed with the sale, and specifies the reasons for which the sale ought to be made by agreement, by a call for tenders or by auction.
