Article 863.6
Dans l’exécution de sa fonction, le notaire doit agir dans l’intérêt de la personne visée par la demande. Il doit aussi, dans le cas d’un régime de protection ou d’un mandat d’inaptitude, agir dans le respect des droits et la sauvegarde de l’autonomie de cette personne.

Article 863.6
In exercising notarial functions under this section, the notary must act in the interest of the person concerned by the application. In the case of protective supervision or a mandate in anticipation of incapacity, the notary must also act in such a manner as to protect the rights and autonomy of the person concerned.
