Article 834.1
Un recours exercé en vertu du présent Titre n’opère pas sursis des procédures. Toutefois, à la demande d’une partie, un juge peut en tout temps après le dépôt de la requête accorder un tel sursis et ordonner, si nécessaire, que soient transmises sans délai au greffier les pièces du dossier qu’il détermine.
De même, un juge de la Cour d’appel peut, en tout temps après le dépôt d’une inscription en appel, ordonner de surseoir à toute procédure dont l’exécution n’est pas suspendue par l’appel.

Article 834.1
No recourse exercised under this Title suspends proceedings. However, at the request of a party, a judge may, at any time after the filing of the motion, grant a suspension of proceedings and, where necessary, order those documents in the record that he determines transmitted to the clerk without delay.
In the same manner, a judge of the Court of Appeal may, at any time after the filing of an inscription in appeal, order the suspension of any proceedings the execution of which is not suspended by the appeal.
