Article 817.2
Le greffier du tribunal qui a rendu le jugement faisant droit à une demande en séparation de biens, en séparation de corps, en nullité de mariage, en divorce ou en dissolution ou en nullité d’union civile doit notifier sans délai ce jugement au directeur de l’état civil et à l’officier de la publicité chargé du registre des droits personnels et réels mobiliers.
Il doit également transmettre ce jugement, sans délai, au dépositaire de la minute du contrat de mariage ou d’union civile original et, le cas échéant, au dépositaire de la minute de tout contrat qui a modifié le régime matrimonial ou d’union civile; le dépositaire est tenu de faire mention du jugement qui lui a été transmis sur la minute et sur toute copie qu’il en délivre, en indiquant la date du jugement, le numéro du dossier, le nom du district et celui du tribunal.
Il doit également notifier sans délai ce jugement à la Régie des rentes du Québec.

Article 817.2
The clerk of the court which has rendered a judgment maintaining an application for separation as to property, for separation from bed and board, marriage annulment or divorce or for the dissolution or annulment of a civil union must forthwith give notice of the judgment to the registrar of civil status and to the registrar in charge of the register of personal and movable real rights.
He must also forthwith transmit the judgment to the depositary of the minute of the original marriage or civil union contract and, where such is the case, on the depositary of the minute of any contract to modify the matrimonial or civil union regime; the depositary must make a reference to the judgment transmitted to him in the minute and any copy thereof issued by him, indicating the date of the judgment, the number of the record, the name of the district and the name of the court.
He must also give notice forthwith of the judgment to the Régie des rentes du Québec.
