Les hypothèques s’éteignent par la perte du bien grevé, son changement de nature, sa mise hors commerce ou son expropriation, lorsque ces événements portent sur la totalité du bien.

Hypothecs are extinguished by the loss of the charged property, a change in its nature, its withdrawal from commerce or its expropriation, where those events concern the property as a whole.

Hypothecs are extinguished by the loss, change of nature, exclusion from being an object of commerce or expropriation of the charged property, where such events affect the property as a whole.
