Article 1324
L’administrateur n’est pas tenu de faire inventaire, de souscrire une assurance ou de fournir une autre sûreté pour garantir l’exécution de ses obligations, à moins d’y être obligé par la loi ou l’acte, ou encore par le tribunal, à la demande du bénéficiaire ou de tout intéressé. Quand l’acte lui crée ces obligations, il peut, si les circonstances le justifient, demander d’en être dispensé.

Article 1324
An administrator is not bound to make an inventory, to take out insurance or to furnish other security to guarantee the performance of his obligations unless required to do so by law or by the act, or, again, by the court on the application of the beneficiary or any interested person. Where the act creates these obligations, the administrator may apply for an exemption if circumstances warrant it.
