Applications for licences and permits
(1)For the purposes of exercising his or her power under subsection 62(1) to issue or renew licences and permits, the Minister may, by order,(a)establish classes of applications;
(b)establish conditions, by class of application or otherwise, that must be met before or during the consideration of an application;
(c)establish an order, by class of application or otherwise, for the consideration of applications; and
(d)provide for the disposition of applications, including those made by an applicant subsequent to the applicant’s first application.
No decision
(2)The fact that an application is retained, returned or disposed of without being considered does not constitute a decision in respect of the application.Clarification — pending applications
(3)For greater certainty, an order made under subsection (1) also applies in respect of applications in respect of which no final decision had been made by the Minister before the making of the order.Clarification — other powers
