Article 57
Le gouvernement peut déterminer, par règlement, des normes relatives au contenant, à l’emballage et à la présentation du cannabis. Ces normes peuvent varier en fonction des catégories de cannabis déterminées et selon l’usage ou la clientèle auquel il est destiné.
Le gouvernement peut également, par règlement, obliger tout producteur de cannabis à inscrire sur l’emballage certains renseignements qu’il détermine ainsi que les messages attribués au ministre qu’il indique soulignant les effets nocifs du cannabis sur la santé.
Quiconque contrevient aux dispositions d’un règlement pris en application du premier ou du deuxième alinéa commet une infraction et est passible d’une amende de 5 000 $ à 500 000 $. En cas de récidive, ces montants sont portés au double.

Section 57
The Government may, by regulation, determine standards relating to cannabis containers, packaging and display. Those standards may vary according to the various classes of cannabis determined and according to the intended use of or customer base for the cannabis.
The Government may also, by regulation, require cannabis producers to print on cannabis packaging certain particulars that the Minister determines and messages attributed to the Minister that the latter indicates about the harmful effects of cannabis on health.
Anyone who contravenes a regulation made under the first or second paragraph commits an offence and is liable to a fine of $5,000 to $500,000. Those amounts are doubled for a subsequent offence.
