Article 166
Lorsqu’il est possible de redresser le grief sur lequel l’exception est fondée, le demandeur peut obtenir qu’un délai lui soit accordé pour ce faire et que le jugement sur l’exception ne soit rendu qu’à l’expiration de ce délai.
Si le grief subsiste, la demande sera rejetée; s’il a été redressé, l’exception sera maintenue pour les dépens seulement.

Article 166
When it is possible to remedy the ground upon which the exception is based, the plaintiff may ask that he be granted a time to do so and that judgment be rendered upon the exception only upon the expiry of such time.
If the ground remains, the suit is dismissed; if it has been remedied, the exception is maintained for costs only.
